Our assessment of the current skills of new technicians has identified an immediate need for a new approach to educating automotive technicians. The skills needed in modern day production facilities are simply not offered in today’s educational programs. WCC is prepared to meet and exceed the educational needs of new automotive technicians and ill the void in the educational programs currently offered by the establishment of West Coast Customs Academy.

The goal of WCCA is to motivate train and prepare students in technical skills relative to the automotive aftermarket trades. Students will enroll in a comprehensive one year program that will provide proficiency in core automotive areas to form a foundation from which students can advance. Course learning objectives will allow students to understand a concept and apply the lessons within a hands on environment with actual vehicles.

Is tuition free for the Academy?
After submitting your application, if you are selected by the WCC team, tuition will be free for those chosen for the season. However, please note that there are limited spots available per semester.
Do I need to be a resident of Los Angeles or Burbank to apply?
Currently, we are specifically seeking students who are residents of Los Angeles and Burbank.
Is there an age requirement for enrollment?
Yes in order to apply there is an age requirement you must be 18-23 years old.
What is the duration of the classes?
The academy is about 8-10 weeks, can be extended depending on the speed of the project.
